Title AML Officer
Department AML and Compliance
Classification Full-Time, Staff
Location Mumbai, India AML & CFT Operations
· Manage end-to-end AML operations, including guiding the operations team on
KYC, CDD, updating policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes,
and training employees.
· Perform effective sanction screening and transaction monitoring on everyday
transactions. Perform EDD wherever required.
· Update the sanctions screening list and TBML verification process based on
regulatory requirements.
Regulatory and Management reporting
· Prepare and submit regulatory reports, particularly STRs, CBWTRs, etc., to
FIU-India and KYC-AML quarterly reporting to RBI.
· Submit monthly report to management.
· Submit all ad-hoc reporting to regulators and management.
· Support other departments in the preparation and submission of returns
wherever KYC-related data is required to be submitted.
Risk Assessment
· Support CAMLO in conducting enterprise-wide Annual AML CFT Risk
Assessment.
· Conduct a half-yearly risk rating review of customers.
· Conduct AML and Sanction screening system logic and threshold review on a
periodic basis and raise a modification request for effective monitoring
Compliance and Governance
· Preparation of documents and supporting data for the AML Committee review.
· Checking the regulatory updates on a daily basis and implementing the same
through internal process.
· Handle employee training and certification of operating staff regarding the latest
process changes and regulatory updates.
Manage other tasks assigned by the CAMLO and the management. Qualifications
· 5-8 years of AML experience in the banking sector; experience working at a
foreign bank in India is highly preferred.
· Bachelor's degree.
· Strong understanding of the regulatory environment, particularly FIU-India,
RBI, DGFT, etc.
· AML certification from IIBF, ARIFAC etc.
· ACAMS / ACFCS certifications will be considered favorable.
· Fluent in spoken and written English and Hindi/Marathi.
· High integrity and strict confidentiality.
