Civil Architect
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our growing architectural and construction team in Mysore. The ideal candidate should have experience in residential and commercial building projects, architectural planning, site coordination, and preparation of working drawings. The candidate will work closely with senior architects, civil engineers, clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently from concept to completion.Responsibilities commonly include preparing technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, supporting site execution, and ensuring compliance with building standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural concept drawings, working drawings, and construction drawings.
- Develop 2D plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Create 3D models and realistic renderings for client presentations.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Interior teams.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress.
- Ensure drawings comply with local building by-laws and regulations.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and quantity estimates.
- Assist in obtaining approvals from local authorities wherever required.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
- Resolve on-site architectural and construction issues.
- Participate in client meetings and incorporate design revisions.
- Maintain project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
- COA Registration preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Architecture or Construction.
- Experience in Residential Villas, Apartments, Commercial Buildings, or Interior Projects.
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Revit (Preferred)
- Lumion / Enscape / Twinmotion
- V-Ray (Added Advantage)
- MS Office
- Photoshop (Preferred)
- Strong architectural design knowledge.
- Excellent detailing and drafting skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods and building materials.
- Understanding of structural and MEP coordination.
- Strong communication and client handling skills.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and within project teams.
