CNC Programmer & Operator

Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements.∙Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining operations.
∙Set up CNC machines and select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters
. ∙Conduct first-off inspections and verify dimensions to ensure products meet quality standards.
∙Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
∙Monitor machine performance and recommend process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
∙Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
∙Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
∙Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, tooling records, and process instructions.
∙Train machine operators on program execution, machine setup, and machining best practices when required.
∙Ensure proper care and maintenance of CNC machines, tooling, and measuring instruments.
Requirements
∙Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.∙Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining operations. ∙Proficient in CNC programming for milling and turning machines using G-code and M-code.
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, NX, or similar software.
∙Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, workholding methods, and machining processes.
∙Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
∙Ability to work independently and meet production schedules and quality requirements.
∙Knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality management systems (ISO 9001/AS9100) is an advantage.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per month
