Department Manager(Dark store operations) (Mumbai)

Job Description · Ensure smooth day-to-day dark store operations, adhering to defined SOPs and service standards. · Manage inbound and outbound activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch. · Perform accurate order picking with speed and zero-error mindset to meet 10–20 minute delivery SLAs. · Monitor real-time order flow and coordinate with delivery partners/riders for timely handover. · Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular cycle counts, stock rotation, and shrinkage control. · Ensure FEFO/ FIFO practices for perishable and non-perishable items. · Conduct shelf replenishment and maintain product visibility and hygiene within the store. · Handle customer return orders (RTVs) and defective/damaged goods as per the process. · Support with GRN, stock reconciliation, and documentation during audits. · Flag low-stock, near-expiry, and slow-moving items proactively. · Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the dark store at all times. · Collaborate with store supervisors and delivery partners to resolve operational bottlenecks. · Adhere to compliance, safety protocols, and loss-prevention practices.
