Day-to-day activities include reviewing clinical records, interpreting medical terminology, applying ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
The role involves collaborating with billing and consulting staff, following internal quality standards, and helping reduce denials through accurate, timely coding. This is a part-time, remote role that requires reliable access to a secure work environment, adherence to privacy regulations, and the ability to manage workload independently.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Medical Coding and Coding Experience, with specific proficiency in radiology services.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and applicable payer rules.
- Candidates should possess effective written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
