<p><strong>Job Title: Eye Bank Technician</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Chennai / Permanent Role</p><p><strong>Department:</strong> Eye Bank</p><p><strong>Education: </strong>Any Graduate/Diploma</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 0 – 5 Years.</p><p><br></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>To collect and transport blood samples and other specimens as required.</li><li>To take donor tissues to the Cornea Emergency Unit and Operation Theatre.</li><li>To coordinate with nursing staff and Operation Theatre personnel.</li><li>To maintain and upkeep Eye Bank equipment, facilities, and work areas.</li><li>To ensure proper handling and transportation of donor tissues and specimens.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Title: Eye Bank Counsellor</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Chennai / Permanent Role</p><p><strong>Department:</strong> Eye Bank</p><p><strong>Education: </strong>Any Graduate/BSW/ MSW</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 0 – 5 Years</p><p><strong>Skill</strong>: Good Communication, Counselling</p><p><br></p><p><u>Roles and responsibilities:</u></p><ul><li>To provide immediate support and counselling to the family members of the deceased and educate them about eye donation.</li><li>To identify and explore opportunities to organize public health education and awareness programs on eye donation.</li><li>To attend eye donation calls and coordinate with the team to facilitate timely retrieval of donor corneas.</li><li>To send acknowledgement letters and appropriate correspondence to the family members of donors.</li></ul><p></p>
