GRE Stress Engineer- Piping (Oil & Gas)
Role & responsibilities
- Perform Stress Analysis and design verification of Glass Reinforced Epoxy(GRE)
- Ensure piping designs comply with applicable international standards and codes, including ISO 14692
- Review and approve GRE, Vendor drawings, stress reports, calculations and engineering documents.
- Ensure technical compliance, accuracy, constructability and quality of piping designs
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and vendor throughout the project life cycle
- Provide technical guidance on GRE piping system and resolve engineering issues
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
- 8+Years in experience in piping stress engineering, preferably in Oil and Gas/EPC industry
- Hands on experience in Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) PIPING Systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO-146092
- Experience in performing stress analysis, design verification and review of Vendor drawings, stress reports and engineering calculations
- Experience with piping stress stress analysis software such as CAESAR
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period will be preferred
