The Senior Director – IT will be responsible for leading the overall technology strategy, operations, and digital transformation initiatives across the India region.
This role will ensure alignment of IT systems with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation to support organizational growth. The position will oversee infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, IT governance, and emerging technology adoption.
Strategic Leadership
Define and implement a roadmap for tech transformation. Balancing cost vs value in IT investments. Execute the IT and product strategy for India in alignment with global/regional business priorityies. Partner with business leaders to enable digital transformation and support aggressive growth plans. Ensure IT and product investments deliver strong ROI and business impact.Technology, Product & Infrastructure
Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cloud, and data management. Lead product development and lifecycle management, ensuring products meet business and user needs. Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of technology platforms. Drive modernization and automation of IT systems to improve agility.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Establish strong IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. Ensure data security, privacy, and business continuity planning.
Team & Vendor Managements
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team. Manage IT budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships. Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Innovation & Future-readiness
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as AI, analytics, automation, and digital workplace solutions. Support building digital-first education environments. Applying AI in different areaso f business. Ensure IT and products are key enablers of growth, efficiency, and customer/student experience.
