The Industry Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, panels, and equipment across the plant. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring safe and reliable operation of motors, drives, control systems, and power distribution networks. The role involves responding to breakdowns, carrying out preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting production teams with electrical-related issues. The Industry Electrician will also follow safety procedures, maintain documentation of work performed, and coordinate with engineering and maintenance staff to improve system performance and minimize downtime.<br><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <br><ul><li>Solid understanding of electricity principles and safe electrical practices, including working with industrial power systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience in electrical work such as wiring, panel installation, cable routing, and connection of industrial equipment.</li><li>Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical systems, motors, drives, and control circuits within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, system failures, and equipment malfunctions.</li><li>Basic knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.</li><li>Relevant technical qualification or diploma/ITI in Electrical or a related field from a recognized institution.</li><li>Familiarity with industrial safety standards, use of PPE, and compliance with electrical and plant safety regulations.</li><li>Ability to work in shifts, respond to urgent maintenance needs, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Previous experience in chemical, manufacturing, or process industry settings is an advantage.</li></ul>
