About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Lead with strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS/Express.js, Redis, Microservices, and scalable backend architecture. The ideal candidate will lead backend development, build high-performance APIs, and contribute to AI-powered learning and analytics systems. This role is critical in building scalable backend systems that support AI-powered student learning experiences, analytics dashboards, browser-based AI workflows, and real-time integrations across the platform.Key Responsibilitie s
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs Lead backend architecture, database design, and performance optimization initiatives
- Build and manage microservices architecture for high-traffic applications Build analytics pipelines for teacher dashboards and student activity tracking Ensure clean coding practices, testing coverage, documentation, and deployment automation
- Contribute to CI/CD implementation and backend scalability improvements
- 5–8 years of backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS/Express.js, and TypeScript Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL database design and optimization
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
- Strong understanding of Redis caching strategies Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Jest or similar testing frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (B.Tech only)
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
- Proven track record of building and managing 20–25 microservices.
