We are looking for an experienced Medical Coder with expertise in Interventional Cardiology & Electrophysiology to join our team.
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in Medical CodingHands-on experience in Interventional Cardiology & Electrophysiology
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding compliance
- CPC/CCS/CIC/COC certification is required
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze physician documentation for Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology procedures.
- Assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes based on coding guidelines and payer requirements.
- Maintain high coding accuracy, productivity, and turnaround time (TAT).
- Identify documentation deficiencies and raise coding queries when clarification is required..
