Role Description The Nursing Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Shimla. This position is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based nursing care, including assessing patients, planning and implementing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring responses to treatment. The Nursing Officer will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and infection control standards. Daily responsibilities include educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments, coordinating discharge plans, and assisting in emergency responses as needed. The role also involves participating in quality improvement activities, maintaining professional competencies, and supporting a respectful, patient-centered care environment. Qualifications <ul><li>Strong clinical nursing skills, including patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration.</li><li>Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and basic emergency care procedures.</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate documentation, follow hospital or clinic policies, and comply with regulatory standards.</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Capacity to manage time, prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting, and remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Recognized nursing qualification (e.g., GNM, B.Sc.
