Our tutors choose the jobs that fit their expertise and schedule, and our growing partnerships with school districts mean a steady pipeline of meaningful work — especially in special education, where demand continues to outpace supply.<br><br><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required (degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred)</li><li>Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs — whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutor</li><li>Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.)</li><li>Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations</li><li>Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online</li><li>Ability to pass a background check</li><li>Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred (not Required)<br><br></strong><ul><li>Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special Education</li><li>Experience with specific methodologies such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacy</li><li>Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Flexible schedule — work when you want</li><li>100% remote</li><li>Set your own hourly rate</li><li>Consistent flow of students matched to your expertise</li><li>Opportunity to make a real difference for students who need it most</li></ul>
