One Stop Centre Vellore Security Guard and Multipurpose Assistant Recruitment 2026

The Social Welfare Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, has invited applications for the One Stop Centre (OSC) at Vellore, part of the nationwide Sakhi – One Stop Centre scheme that offers round-the-clock support to women facing violence, including counselling, medical help, police assistance, and temporary shelter. The centre needs a Security Guard to maintain safety on the premises and a Multipurpose Assistant who is skilled in cooking and can help keep the centre clean. Both posts run on 24x7 rotating shifts, and only women applicants who are local residents of Vellore district can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For Security Guard (Rs. 12,000/month):

You need to have passed 8th standard or 10th standard (pass or fail is accepted).
You should have at least 2 years of prior experience in security work at a government or private organization.

For Multipurpose Assistant (Rs. 10,000/month):

You need to have passed 8th standard or 10th standard (pass or fail is accepted).
You should know how to cook and be able to help keep the centre clean and well maintained.
You should have at least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.

Both posts are open only to women candidates who are local residents of Vellore district, physically fit, and aged up to 35 years.

Age Limit

You should be up to 35 years old to apply for either post.

Salary

Security Guard: Consolidated pay of Rs. 12,000 per month.
Multipurpose Assistant: Consolidated pay of Rs. 10,000 per month.
Both posts are on a contract basis with fixed monthly pay — no separate allowances are mentioned in the notification.
