Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi for a Plumber and Fire Fighting professional. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, valves, and water supply lines in residential and commercial buildings. The individual will also assist in the installation, inspection, and upkeep of fire-fighting systems such as hydrant lines, sprinklers, and related piping to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, coordinating with supervisors and site engineers, and documenting work completed. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient use of tools and materials, and respectful, clear communication with clients and coworkers. Qualifications <ul><li>Strong plumbing skills, including installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, valves, and related systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience with pipe fitting, routing, and connections for water and fire-fighting lines.</li><li>Proficiency in maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting leaks, pressure issues, and system malfunctions.</li><li>Ability to perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term system reliability.</li><li>Customer service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain a professional demeanor on-site.</li><li>Basic knowledge of fire-fighting system components and safety standards (hydrants, sprinklers, pumps) is highly beneficial.</li><li>Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in plumbing and fire-fighting work.</li><li>Ability to read basic drawings or layout plans and follow technical instructions.</li><li>Physical ability to work on-site, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in varied conditions.</li><li>Previous experience as a plumber or in building services; vocational training or certification in plumbing or fire-fighting systems is an advantage.</li></ul>
