Project coordinator- Railway vertical
Job Title: Project Coordinator Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years Location: (As per project requirement site/HO mix)- Dwarka Sector 15, Delhi Experience Required: 38 years (preferably in Railway / Infrastructure / IT System Integration projects) Job Summary: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring Railway System Integration (SI) projects, ensuring timely execution, compliance with tender specifications (such as RDSO/Indian Railways standards), and seamless coordination between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Coordination Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Track project milestones and ensure adherence to timelines Coordinate between OEMs, vendors, site teams, and client authorities 2. Execution & Monitoring Ensure proper execution of SI works (CCTV, networking, servers, displays, etc.) Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications Conduct regular site visits and progress reviews 3. Documentation & Compliance Maintain project documentation (BOQ, drawings, approvals, reports) Ensure compliance with Railway standards, tender requirements, and safety norms Prepare DPRs, progress reports, and MOMs 4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery and installation Liaise with Railway officials, consultants, and inspection authorities Support inspections, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities 5. Quality & Issue Resolution Ensure quality control during installation and commissioning Identify project risks and resolve issues proactively Track and close punch points 6. Billing & Commercial Support Support preparation of RA bills and documentation Track material consumption and project costs Assist in variation claims and approvals Required Skills: Strong understanding of Railway SI systems (CCTV, OFC network, PA systems, servers, NMS, etc.) Knowledge of RDSO / Indian Railways standards Project management and coordination skills Good communication and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and reporting tools Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electronics / Electrical / IT / Telecom) or equivalent PMP/Prince2 certification (preferred but not mandatory) Key Competencies: Problem-solving and decision-making Time management and multitasking Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Preferred Experience: Experience in Railway projects (RDSO/IR) Handling SI projects like Video Surveillance, FRS, Networking, Command Control Centers Job Type: Full-timeSalary: As per industry standards (negotiable based on experience).
