About the Role

Naxose Hypermarkets is seeking a results-oriented Operations Manager - Retail to take complete responsibility for the operations and performance of the allocated hypermarket store. This is a key leadership position for an experienced retail professional who can drive operational excellence and business results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve sales, profitability, and overall business targets
Oversee all departments including Fresh, Food, Non-Food, General Merchandise, and Household
Manage P&L, optimize inventory levels, control costs, and minimize shrinkage
Uphold exceptional standards in visual merchandising, product quality, store hygiene, and customer service
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of department supervisors and store staff
Ensure full compliance with company policies, SOPs, and retail best practices
Deliver superior customer experience and resolve escalations effectively

Requirements

7+ years of progressive experience in retail operations, with substantial time spent managing full store operations in a hypermarket or large-format supermarket
Proven track record in driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and team performance
Strong expertise in P&L management, inventory control, and retail operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to thrive in a demanding environment with flexible working hours, including weekends
Graduate / MBA preferred
