Job Description: Automobile Sales Consultant

Position Title: Sales Consultant – Automotive
Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in the showroom or dealership with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles based on preferences, budget, and lifestyle.
Conduct product presentations and test drives to showcase vehicle features and benefits.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of current inventory, including specifications, financing options, and promotions.
Prepare and present sales quotes and finance options; guide customers through the purchase process.
Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Follow up with potential leads, existing customers, and referrals to generate repeat and new business.
Ensure timely completion of all paperwork, including loan/lease documentation, registration, and insurance.
Collaborate with the service and finance teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and new vehicle launches.

CRM and dealership software proficiency (e.g., DMS, AutoMate, Salesforce)

Monthly units sold
Lead-to-sale conversion rate
Customer satisfaction (CSI) score
Repeat business and referral rate
Finance and insurance (F&I) penetration

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in automobile sales or a related field
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Familiarity with multiple vehicle brands (e.g., Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc.) is a plus

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
