What We’re Looking For – Role BriefWe are looking for a talented and driven SEO Intern to join our growing marketing team. As an SEO Intern at Grexa AI, you'll gain hands-on experience with real SEO strategies, work on live projects, and be part of a collaborative team focused on digital growth. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about SEO, content, and data — and eager to make a meaningful contribution while learning fast. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) to improve local map rankings and visibility.</li><li>Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis for GBP and basic SEO opportunities.</li><li>Optimize GBP elements including business descriptions, categories, services, products, photos, and posts.</li><li>Assist in on-page SEO tasks such as optimizing meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure.</li><li>Monitor GBP and website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and GBP Insights.</li><li>Support review management strategies, including response optimization and sentiment analysis.</li><li>Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to create SEO-friendly content, GBP posts, FAQs, and review responses through effective prompt engineering.</li><li>Assist in building automation workflows for reporting, content creation, and GBP monitoring using tools like Google Sheets, Zapier, or similar.</li><li>Collaborate with the SEO and content team to execute local SEO and content strategies.</li><li>Stay updated with GBP updates, local SEO trends, algorithm changes, and AI advancements.</li><li>Support the SEO team in daily tasks, audits, and special optimization projects.</li></ul> What You Should Have<ul><li>Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals, Google Business Profile, and local search.</li><li>Familiarity with Google tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.</li><li>Strong interest in Local SEO, GBP optimization, and digital marketing.</li><li>Strong curiosity and hands-on interest in AI prompting and automation.</li><li>Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest is a plus.</li><li>Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel for tracking and reporting.</li><li>Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.</li><li>Willingness to learn fast, experiment with AI tools, and adapt in a startup environment.</li><li>Must be based in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and available to work from our Vashi office.</li></ul> Why Join Us?<ul><li>Get real, hands-on experience in digital growth and SEO strategy.</li><li>Learn from experienced founders and marketers with proven track records.</li><li>Work in a dynamic, fast-paced team that encourages learning and ownership.</li><li>Be part of a mission-driven company creating real value for small businesses.</li></ul>
