Shisha/Hookah Molasses Product Tester Needed (India) — Paid Taste Feedback, 5 Flavours

Job Description

We're a beverage/tobacco products company developing a new line of flavored shisha molasses, currently manufactured by a factory in India. We're looking for 2–3 independent testers based in India to receive a small sample package locally, try each flavor, and provide structured written feedback comparing it against a well-known reference brand (Al Fakher or Soex, whichever you have easier access to).

This is a paid task, not a survey — we expect thoughtful, honest, specific feedback, including criticism.

What you'll do

Receive a small package of 5 shisha molasses flavor samples (Watermelon, Blueberry, Bubblegum, Mint, Double Apple), sent to a local address we arrange with the supplier.

Set up a hookah session (your own equipment) and smoke each flavor, ideally alongside a reference brand you're familiar with for comparison.

Complete a structured scorecard we provide (rating 10 specific attributes per flavor: flavor accuracy, intensity, smoke density, throat hit, burn consistency, moisture/texture, flavor longevity, aftertaste, appearance, packaging condition) plus a few comparison questions per flavor.

Return the completed scorecard (we'll provide it as an editable document) within [X] days of receiving the samples.

Who we're looking for

Based in India, ideally in a city where hookah lounges/shisha culture is common (Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, etc.)

Experienced shisha/hookah smoker — regular or frequent use preferred, since we need feedback that can meaningfully compare against known brands

Comfortable giving detailed written feedback in English, not just a star rating

Reliable: able to receive a package at a fixed address and complete feedback within the agreed timeframe

Bonus: any prior experience with product testing, reviews, or sensory panels

Deliverable

One completed scorecard document per tester, covering all 5 flavors, submitted digitally (Word doc or filled PDF — we'll send the template).

Budget & Timeline

Budget: $50 per completed tester

Timeline: feedback due within 5 days of sample receipt

Payment on delivery of the completed, fully filled-out scorecard
