Social Media Analyst

<p>This is a senior, strategic, full-time, on-site role in Ghaziabad, reporting to the Head</p><p>of Data and Analytics. The Digital Marketing Command Centre Lead is responsible</p><p>for anchoring and operating a high-tech, real-time marketing intelligence centre. You</p><p>will act as the crucial link between client teams (brand, digital, category, CMI),</p><p>agency partners, tool providers, and crisis response units, ensuring every insight is</p><p>purposeful, timely, relevant, actioned, tested, and learned from.</p><p>We are seeking a professional with 7-8 years of experience, rooted in consumer</p><p>research or market intelligence (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, IPSOS), who has evolved into</p><p>a Social Listening and Digital Intelligence specialist. This role is critical for</p><p>maintaining brand vigilance, consumer pulse monitoring, and agile marketing</p><p>execution across a diverse FMCG portfolio, including Health Care, Personal Care,</p><p>Home Care, and Foods & Beverages. You will ensure the Command Centre</p><p>operates as a proactive intelligence engine supporting business ambitions across all</p><p>digital touchpoints.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>1. Command Centre Leadership & Governance: Lead day-to-day operations,</p><p>manage request workflows and log, define SOPs, conduct performance</p><p>reviews against SLAs and KPIs. Uphold agency and client values, develop the</p><p>team, and build indispensable client relationships by consistently delivering</p><p>high-quality insights and identifying new opportunities.</p><p>2. Stakeholder Management & Solutioning: Serve as the primary interface,</p><p>translating business challenges into structured listening briefs and</p><p>measurement frameworks. Lead workshops, design tailored solutions and</p><p>proactively identify/address capability gaps.</p><p>3. Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, strategic partnerships</p><p>with client marketing/brand teams, agency partners, platform vendors, and</p><p>data providers. Act as the central communication point and facilitate cross-</p><p>functional collaboration.</p><p>4. Crisis Detection, Triage & Escalation: Own the end-to-end crisis response</p><p>process. Implement a 3-tier severity classification (Severity 1 Critical: 15-30</p><p>min response; Severity 2 High; Severity 3 Moderate: same-day review) and</p><p>define escalation workflows. Lead post-crisis reviews and coordinate with PR,</p><p>Legal, and Brand teams.</p><p>5. Insight Storytelling & Reporting: Transform complex data (social listening,</p><p>ORM, influencer, digital analytics) into clear, compelling, and actionable</p><p>narratives. Design tiered reporting (real-time, weekly, monthly, quarterly),</p><p><br></p><p>apply strong data visualization, and champion "so what" thinking. Create</p><p>brand listening, category intelligence, and trend reports.</p><p>6. AI-Assisted Human-in-Loop Operations: Design and implement AI-</p><p>augmented workflows, maximizing machine intelligence while preserving</p><p>human judgment. Define human-in-loop intervention models, configure AI/ML</p><p>tools, and refine handoff protocols for speed and accuracy.</p><p>7. Social Listening, ORM & Influencer Intelligence: Act as SME for platforms</p><p>like Talkwalker, Brandwatch. Design/maintain robust listening frameworks</p><p>(Boolean, topics, SOV, sentiment), oversee ORM, and integrate influencer</p><p>intelligence tools.</p><p>8. Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation: Utilize Power BI, Tableau, or</p><p>similar to build/maintain dashboards. Integrate diverse data streams (social,</p><p>web, CRM, e-commerce) and promote self-service BI.</p><p>9. Digital Marketing Expertise: Apply deep understanding of the digital</p><p>marketing ecosystem (paid, organic social, SEO, content, influencer, e-</p><p>commerce, performance) to contextualize insights for strategy and stay ahead</p><p>of digital trends.</p><p>10. People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of social listening</p><p>analysts, ORM executives, and data/insight managers. Define KPIs, growth</p><p>plans, and foster a collaborative, insight-driven culture.</p><p>11. Marketing Frameworks & FMCG Brand Knowledge: Apply core marketing</p><p>frameworks (content, segmentation, consumer journey, brand health) and</p><p>leverage FMCG experience to align intelligence with brand equity, NPS, and</p><p>category share of voice.</p><p>Role Requirements</p><p> Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or</p><p>related field. MBA/postgraduate preferred.</p><p> Experience: 7-10 years total; minimum 3-4 years in Social Listening / Digital</p><p>Intelligence with a foundational background in consumer research or market</p><p>intelligence.</p><p> FMCG Experience: Good to have experience with the category (specifically</p><p>Health Care, Personal Care, F&B preferred).</p><p> Tools Proficiency: Talkwalker, Brandwatch, or equivalent; Power BI/Tableau</p><p>or equivalent BI tool; ORM platforms like Simplify360, Konnect Insights;</p><p>Influencer analytics tools.</p><p> Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing and developing cross-</p><p>functional teams.</p><p><br></p><p> Language: Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional</p><p>regional language proficiency advantageous.</p><p>Desired Skills & Competencies</p><p> Technical Skills: Social listening platforms</p><p>(Talkwalker/Brandwatch/Meltwater/Sprinklr), ORM process, Influencer</p><p>intelligence tools, BI/data visualization (Power BI/Tableau), Boolean query</p><p>building, AI tool literacy, Digital analytics familiarity (Google Analytics, Meta</p><p>Business Suite).</p><p> Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong business analysis (data to strategy),</p><p>Crisis management, Content/audience framework knowledge, Competitive</p><p>intelligence, Campaign measurement.</p><p> Behavioural Competencies: Exceptional stakeholder communication, High</p><p>emotional intelligence, Relationship-building, Structured problem-solving</p><p>under pressure, Comfort in ambiguity/fast-paced environments, Collaborative</p><p>leadership, Attention to detail balanced with strategic thinking.</p><p>What Success Looks Like in This Role</p><p> Within 90 days: Full audit of existing tools/processes, established request</p><p>log, delivered stakeholder workshop, implemented crisis triage (Severity 1-3),</p><p>and set core workflows (Crisis, Insights, Response, Request, Reporting,</p><p>Alerts, Escalation).</p><p> Within 6 months: Measurable improvement in insight turnaround time and</p><p>stakeholder satisfaction, launched AI-assisted workflow, and established</p><p>regular brand health/category intelligence reporting.</p><p> Within 12 months: Positioned the command centre as a strategic decision-</p><p>support engine for marketing leadership, demonstrated a direct link between</p><p>intelligence and at least three measurable brand/campaign outcomes, and</p><p>built a high-performing, self-sufficient team.</p>
