Software Developer – AI & Geospatial Technologies - Fresher

About the job:

We are looking for a motivated 'Software Developer - AI & Geospatial Technologies' to join our team and work on real-world applications involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, GIS, remote sensing, and geospatial data. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python and software development, along with an interest in applying AI/ML to geospatial and agricultural datasets. This role will involve developing end-to-end solutions, from data processing and model development to application development and deployment.

Key responsibilities:-

1. Develop and maintain Python-based software applications for AI, computer vision, GIS, and geospatial use cases.
2. Process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data including satellite imagery, drone/UAV imagery, raster data, vector data, shapefiles, GeoJSON, and spatial datasets.
3. Develop and integrate machine learning and deep learning models for image analysis, object detection, segmentation, classification, prediction, and other AI applications.
4. Build data-processing pipelines for large-scale imagery and geospatial datasets.
5. Work with GIS libraries and tools such as GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely, GDAL, and related geospatial technologies.
6. Develop APIs and software components to integrate AI/ML models into production applications.
7. Work with databases and SQL for storing, querying, and managing structured and geospatial data.
8. Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to convert real-world problems into reliable software and AI solutions.
9. Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code following good software engineering practices.
10. Use Git/GitLab for version control, collaborative development, and code management.
11. Debug, test, optimize, and improve existing applications and AI/ML pipelines.
12. Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of AI/Geospatial applications in development and production environments.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, artificial intelligence, geoinformatics, GIS, remote sensing, engineering, or a related field.
2. 2. Strong programming fundamentals and good problem-solving skills. Candidates should be comfortable writing Python code independently.
3. 3. Prior academic, personal, internship, or project experience in AI/ML, Computer Vision, GIS, Remote Sensing, image processing, or geospatial applications will be an advantage.
4. 4. Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in building practical software using AI and Geospatial technologies.
5. 5. Candidates who have worked on projects involving satellite/drone imagery, computer vision, object detection, image segmentation, GIS applications, spatial analysis, or machine learning are encouraged to apply.
