Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy applications/products based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Work effectively across UI, Business Layer, Service Layer, and Database components of n-tier architecture.
Develop scalable backend services and microservices using Java.
Follow Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies for application development and delivery.
Design and develop external software interfaces using appropriate middleware technologies.
Conduct code reviews and design reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
Prepare software design and technical documents based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Enhance and support existing applications by implementing new features and modifying existing functionality.
Analyze and resolve reported issues and production defects in a timely and efficient manner.
Write clean, maintainable, secure, and high-quality code with minimal defects.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support activities.
Ensure development activities follow defined coding, security, quality, and delivery standards.

Skills Required:

Strong experience in Java
Hands-on experience in Microservices
Good understanding of Full Stack Development
Experience with n-tier application architecture
Knowledge of UI, Business Layer, Service Layer, and Database
Experience in application design, development, testing, and deployment
Strong understanding of REST APIs and software integrations
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles
Experience in code review, debugging, and defect resolution
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
Knowledge of RESTful Web Services
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Experience with cloud technologies
Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
