Translation Validator, Punjabi
Job Description:
- Review English source documents alongside two machine-generated Punjabi translations
- Evaluate both variants based on accuracy, fluency, and overall translation quality
- Select the preferred translation and provide a clear written justification
- Complete assigned samples independently within established timelines
- Adhere strictly to project and client guidelines
- Support a synthetic data generation program for a leading technology client
- Perform A/B preference testing to evaluate and improve AI-generated content
- Independently review source documents and translation variants in a blind validation process
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in Punjabi, written and spoken
- Strong written communication skills in Punjabi
- Proficiency in English
- Background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment preferred
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and consistency
- Familiarity with Romanized script conventions for Punjabi is a plus
- Experienced linguist preferred by the role description
