*URGENT* Pharmacy Technician (5.5 days Office Hours, Central) #HRY
About the role
This is a pharmacy role responsible for maintaining pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication handling, and supporting healthcare delivery through organised processes and clear communication.Key responsibilities
- Keep cleanliness and tidiness in pharmacy, including wiping dust off medicine shelves, tables, computers, and around the sink
- Put medicines in order and replenish medicines and other dispensed items
- Ensure doctor's orders are carried out
- Check equipment such as refrigerator, computer, printer, and filter for purified water are in working condition
- Check the temperature in refrigerator twice a day and perform maintenance of equipment
- Assist to research medication required from patient, doctor, or other department staff
- Check prescriptions and get back to doctors if anything is incorrect
- Pack and prepare medicines, taking note of expiry dates
- Dispense medicine with clear explanation and provide information sheets to patients
- Manage stock control by checking stocks, ordering if needed, checking expiry dates, and announcing short expiry date medicines to doctors
