US-Based Image Data Collection Contributor

We're building a dataset to help train and improve AI systems that read and understand

everyday receipts. We're looking for US-based freelancers to contribute photos of their

own receipts from everyday purchases.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Photograph your own personal receipts (restaurants, grocery stores, ride-shares, car

rentals, hotels, event tickets, etc.) that you already have or generate through normal

everyday spending.

- We're specifically looking for receipts that include some non-English text on them

(for example, a Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, or French word or phrase

somewhere on it) alongside a USD total.

- Submit each receipt as a single, clear, centered photo.

- Follow a simple naming and categorization guide (provided after hire).

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be physically located in the United States.

- Receipts must be genuine and your own — no staged, fabricated, downloaded, or

reused/borrowed receipts.

- You must have the right to share the receipt image (i.e., it's your own purchase/receipt).

- Comfortable following a simple metadata/labeling format (we'll provide a short guide

and examples).

- Reliable internet access to upload photos to a shared drive folder.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

- Full collection guidelines and category list.

- Sample images and formatting/naming instructions.

- Ongoing support from our team throughout the project.

To apply, please confirm:

1. You are currently located in the United States.

2. You can commit to contributing over the next 1–2 weeks.

3. You understand this involves photographing your own real, everyday receipts only.
