Job DescriptionJob Description - Marketing Manager, India Role OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives in India. You will be responsible for driving high-impact campaigns, managing key relationships, and ensuring the brands growth and visibility in the region.ResponsibilitiesCampaign Management: Manage all marketing campaigns, events, communication strategies, and partnerships for the Indian market.Performance Tracking: Ensure healthy campaign performance and strive to achieve agreed team and business goals, measuring success using data, tools, and provided resources.Strategic Planning: Oversee go-to-market strategies for regional/group directives, including new launches, project management, and market development activities for assigned portfolios.Operations & Welfare: Ensure smooth marketing operations and oversee the welfare of the marketing team.Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with all Airline entities (AK, FD, D7 & XJ) and Point of Sale (POS) partners operating in the Indian market.Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with external agencies (media, creative) and cross-functional internal teams.Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Distribution to support the team in creating top-tier visibility with OTAs and other travel partners.Brand Building: Use creative and effective channels to maximize cost-efficient promotional opportunities, building consistent buzz around the brand to drive conversion and bookings.Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a Brand Ambassador for AirAsia, increasing awareness of the brand as a global leader in the travel and e-commerce space.RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising, or a related discipline.Experience: At least 5-7 years of working experience. While an airline background is an advantage, we welcome candidates from non-airline backgrounds who can bring fresh ideas.Language Skills: Proficient in English. Proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.Digital Expertise: Strong understanding of e-commerce, social media usage, and the digital landscape is highly valued. Experience building a brand from scratch is a plus.Campaign Experience: Prior experience with ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) campaigns is mandatory. Must have previous experience working with large media buying and creative agencies.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration and goodwill between different teams.Leadership: Capable of bringing order and harmony to the team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of data, campaign performance, and business financials.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects-both tactical and strategic-while meeting time and budgetary deadlines.Agility: Resourceful, agile, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.Work Style: A team player who is also able to work independently.Market Knowledge: Basic knowledge of consumer trends and markets across all AirAsia countries.Work Mode: Must be comfortable working from the office, as this is a full work-from-office role.Travel: Willingness to travel both within India and internationally as required by business needs.We are all different - one talent to another - that is how we rely on our differences.
