Microbiologist
Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to assess microbial contamination levels and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and validate microbiological test methods for assessing the efficacy and stability of cosmetic formulations. Perform environmental monitoring of manufacturing facilities to identify and mitigate potential sources of contamination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to support product development and ensure microbiological safety. Investigate and troubleshoot microbiological issues encountered during product development, manufacturing, or quality control processes. Maintain accurate records of microbiological testing results, laboratory procedures, and equipment calibration logs in compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and emerging technologies in microbiology to continuously improve laboratory practices and procedures. Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Provide microbiological expertise and support to regulatory submissions, including preparation of documentation and responses to regulatory agencies. Mentor junior staff members and provide training on microbiological testing techniques, laboratory procedures, and regulatory compliance.
