; 1. Pre-Operative Responsibilities:
;Anaesthesia Machine (checking leakage and supply of the gases i.e O2, CO2, Air and N2O). / DRUGS for the support of the patient during surgery/Anaesthesia. /Cardiac instrument sets/ Preparation of the intubation trolley (all size of et tubes, laryngoscope, airway, magill forcep, bugee and stylet)/Defibrillators/ Electrocautery machines/Suction apparatus/Patient monitoring systems (ECG, NIRS, BIS, SPO2, NIBP, IABP, TEMPERATURE PROBE, ACT, ETCO2)
; 2. Intra-Operative Responsibilities
;Assisting During Cardiac Surgery: During surgery, the cardiac OT technician assists Anaesthetists and surgeons by managing surgical instruments and maintaining smooth workflow inside the operation theatre.
; 3. Post-Operative Responsibilities
;Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and surgical procedures
;Strong infection-control practices
;Technical proficiency with critical care equipment
; 4. Support services at cardiac centre:
;Has to be available in all high-risk cath lab cases and elective cases under GA (for handling anaesthesia workstation.
;Ventilator / BIPAP / NIV / HFNC / intubation calls / Post-operative/surgery dressing assistance + shifting of the patient.
; ;Qualification and Experience:
;Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology from a Government-recognized institution.
;Minimum 2 years of work experience in a Cardiac Operation Theatre in a reputed hospital.
